Hello everyone, and welcome to our new players! This is our second Route 666 OOC Intro and Mingle post! We're also using this as our April Plotting Post!


APRIL EVENT

ACROSS THE THORN SCRUB

Hello Drifters and welcome to April’s plotting post! We’re taking a break from TDM and Apps this month to focus on a story event and unique location: the thorn brush wastelands, and the strange Tower that stretches towards the sky and takes up the scenery.

First off, we have unique properties from the Tower. As long as it is visible (and it will be visible all month) any wounds a Drifter takes will trigger transformations and trait activation! Drifters can either select from their own pre-selected traits, or they can choose from two event monsters with Chimera and Unicorn! Notably, Chimera monsters will have be able to incorporate these new changes, while Unicorns will be able to heal wounds and staunch any transformations.

The terrain is also going to be causing plenty of bleeding hazards, in the form of thorns, razor brush, and plenty of angry (and twisted) wildlife. Early in the month, there will also be an attack on the Convoy, in the form of cyborg hunters and raiders who are determined to cause death and damages... But who will also be carrying a smorgasbord of electronics, guns, and bullets to loot.

We’ll also be dealing with Moon Warps changing the scenery and making it chaotic, and eventually bringing the Tower down at the end of the month!

high five fellow vampire! 🙏 Blake has the fangs, and last month her hunger for blood emerged (and she spent a day so out of control hungry that she bit about four people lmao), so she can commiserate with Vincent when that eventually kicks in for him!

also, Vincent will definitely wind up with an invite to the goth van crew, aka, a bunch of emo goths who like to hang around Blake's campervan and listen to the metal/goth rock she's scavenged from broken down cars, like Evanescence, and Linkin Park. Said crew consists of Blake (goth catgirl ninja), Shadow (goth hedgehog), and John Doe (eldritch monster in human form)

Vincent is just going to be Not Pleased that the monster thing is eating away at the last bits of his humanity. But he will probably get some morbid amusement out of the irony. He will appreciate (quietly) having people who are struggling to come to terms with being made into monsters. If there's one thing this place isn't lacking after all...

The man's got a lot of practice going for him to indiscriminately bite and is probably going to be steadfastedly directing his noms on monsters, animals, and enemies. But do talk to him about what it's like being around all the blood. T_T/

And hey, he can talk a thing or two about tips and tricks for self control, who knows!

Also goth gang! Who doesn't delight in this sort of thing. Vincent's vehicle is effectively the Munster family car so it'll fit right in. I think he'll be amused by Linkin Park and Evanescence but it'll be the people themselves that'll grow on him.

Just a bunch of people who know how to hang out without talking to one another.
